The Decalogue itself appears twice in the Bible, once in Exodus 20:2–17 (verses 2–14 in Hebrew) and again in Deuteronomy 5:6–21 (verses 6–18 in Hebrew), with some slight variations. But separately, the commandments are repeated frequently, so several questions naturally arise: Wherein lies the uniqueness of the Decalogue?
