- Ideology implies that you have found something absolutely correct and which needs defending.
- Ideologiy becomes a mostly closed system in which allowable changes are defined and controlled by the system, not by encounters with reality.
- Ideology makes people righteous (or empowers them to feel this way), so they feel they can impose on others, to the point of punishing or killing.
- Ideology is a form of tyranny.
